Solscape is looking for two winter interns, one in the area of eco-tourism business and the other in the area of garden/compost management. For the first position we are looking for someone who has prior experience or training in the tourism industry or is keen on learning. The second position would ideally be filled by someone with a background in organic veggie gardening and permaculture, or a strong interest in learning. These are long-term positions from May until August or September. Short daily hours in exchange for accomodation will leave you with plenty of time to explore our amazing surf breaks and beautiful surroundings. This course is not a great opportunity to gain practical skills related to various topics within the field of sustainable design. It can be seen as a chance for those who have taken a Permaculture Design Course to advance their design abilities and learn some important resiliency skills. Or, for those unfamiliar with permaculture, a chance to learn more about a topic of interest.

Each workshop is designed to combine theory and practice while 'up-skilling' participants through hands-on learning. Themes introduced in the first workshop are visited over and over in subsequent workshops in a looping model of instruction.However, each day can also stand alone as a distinct high quality educational opportunity.
